Oh, Kim, I loved reading this post! My mom and I shared a love of beautiful things too. Terrific story and a great bowl! I did like this recipe a lot. My bread looked like yours. I will make it again but may do it half sized because it's so filling.

Very nicely done! Isn't it fun to setup our own breads as homage to Rose's? Was very interesting to follow along on your post since I used a different method :) I like seeing all the different ways to make the same bread! I too found that the bread baked way too quickly. I thought it was my oven just being a shade on the hotter side. Cheers!
