And what a gorgeous picture it is :) There is nothing like fresh bread, is there? I can see myself being addicted to that anticipation, waiting for it to come out of the oven to be immediately devoured. So glad to read that it came out well! -Ellia

Hi Kim: Bread never makes it home in one piece with me either! Your focaccia looks gorgeous! I love this recipe and will make it a lot. I was pacing the floor waiting for it to come out of the oven!

I thought I was the only one that tore into the bread before I get home. Well nice to see great minds think alike.

Yum yum - I want to make it!

You have the technology!

I confess! I ate most of it. It is addictive and it was gone in two sittings…the same day! Signed husband of the baker

You're a good husband

Long ago, I found great pleasure making Challah, braiding the dough with the kids....your process reminded me of the patience making bread requires and how satisfying it was when the house smelled like homemade bread and the family devoured it! This bread looks amazing!

Thanks Susie!

That is a beautiful picture of focaccia! I can't believe how nicely you got it to fill the pan. Well done!

Thanks Vicki.

What a great post! And of course awesome pictures. Wish I had a boulangerie here in Kansas!

Hi Glori, Montreal is known for its delicious food, and there is an endless supply of great, great, great breads and pastries. You must come here one day!

Me too! I like to nibble on freshly baked bread. When I buy baguette from bakery, I always eat the 2 ends first and then the baguette will both ends eaten up by me already before I got home. My husband often complains too but I think he amused too. Your rosemary focaccia looks delicious and reminds me of how delicious it was when I nibbled on mine. :D The thin parts are better! I wish that I could bolt down my mixer too. Sometimes when mixing dough, the mixer makes such a noise that I worry it might break down half way... KA mixer 2-3x more expensive here due to 220v.

You had quite the sensual experience with this dough! The feel the smell and the anticipation. Sounds wonderful and looks fantastic!

For me Mendy, bread is a five-sense experience, more than any other category.
